Hey, I’m Devin (they/she), and I’m the artist behind Hatch. I’m a multi-disciplinary artist, entrepreneur, and educator who is passionate about cultivating community and empowering others.
I have been working professionally as a visual artist for over 25 years. My range of experience includes murals, graphic design, print design and production, fine art, illustration, hand lettering, chalk board and sign art, portraits, website design, ad campaigns, social media marketing and design, cake decorating, t-shirt graphics, and the list goes on…
As well as teaching my own classes and workshops, I have been teaching for the past 15 years at Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, MI. While at Kendall, I have taught a vast array of drawing, digital media, and illustration classes, plus my own mural painting class the past four summers.
Hatch began in 2016 and continues to grow and evolve. While primarily serving local small businesses and clients, I have worked with people all over the U.S. as well. Hatch is more than just a business — I believe in the people I work with and get excited to bring their ideas to life.
