Learn the fundamentals of Graphic Design using the industry’s top design software, Adobe InDesign. Topics include principles of design, typography, visual hierarchy, page layout, and more. Students will create business cards, fliers, and multi-page designs, as well as learning how to export to PDF.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Hatch Workshops are taught by Hatch Creative Services co-owner, Devin DuMond. Devin is a professional designer, illustrator, and fine artist with over 20 years experience. She is an adjunct professor at Kendall College of Art & Design and has taught at GVSU and private classes.
COURSE DETAILS
Participants will be required to bring their own laptop with Adobe InDesign already installed. Instructor will be using the latest version of InDesign CC. There are limited outlets in the gallery, so please show up with your laptop charged and ready to go! Each class will be 1.5–2 hours of demo/lecture.
