Study and Draw the Human Form

Taught by professional artist and adjunct Professor Devin DuMond, this ongoing class will allow students to explore and discover figure drawing. Each week will have a specific area of focus, a demo and handout to further that area of study, plus plenty of time to draw and create with a live model.

All experience levels welcome! 


What to expect:

2 hour class with a live model and instruction
15-20 minute demo with professional artist and adjunct Professor Devin DuMond
Gesture drawing
Variety of short and long poses
Handout with additional information and resources

What to bring:

Your own drawing supplies
Suggested supplies include large drawing pad (18" x 24"), graphite and/or charcoal pencils, and erasers

Note about tickets:

There are limited discounted seats for college students. You will be required to verify your enrollment in a college or university — please bring your student ID to the first session.

Week Two // Proportions and Sighting Techniques

Week Four // Value, Volume, and Form
